I am a female considering getting a tattoo on my lower leg. My current hair removal method is shaving. Does hair continue to grow in a tattooed area? Would it be best for me to do a different type of hair removal method before or after getting my tattoo (there will be gaps of untattooed skin in between and around)? Should I consider laser hair removal in the area?

yeah, the hair still grows there. If you can stand it, don't shave the tattoo until it's completely healed, but after that you can shave it as normal.
If you are thinking about getting laser hair removal, get it done before you get the tattoo. Getting it done after would completely screw up the tattoo. It would basically act like a tattoo laser removal treatment.

yes hair still grows there... you could get laser if you wanted to make sure you do it before you get the tattoo... also you could just shave it doesnt harm the tattoo at all

the hair will still grow through the tattoo. Before you get it done you make sure that your legs have been shaved %26amp; the tattooist usually gives the area a quick shave before he/she does it.
Do not shave wax etc the area until the tattoo has fully healed, even if that means you walk around like a yeti for a week
