Hair growth. How?

Well, it depends your race

You are full African American? If so, then that'll take years, and year and intensive care. Especially since most of them use weaves, harsh chemical treatments and alot of pulling and tugging. I am mix african, asian %26amp; other stuff, my hair is mid back, it is easily to grow, and people always say i have 'white people' hair. If your any other race then you should have no problem. Hair grows at an average rate of half an inch a month, with a few exceptions.

But if you are full african, then i advise you not to use any weaves, don't relax your hair to much. ALWAYS deep condition ALOT. wash your hair like twice a week. African hair is naturally very dry and washing any hair strips if from the natural oil. Snip your ends, if you already have dead ends, your hair is not going to grow anymore.

%26amp; Just take good care of it!

Hair growth. How?

take alot of vitamen E. which you can find in eggs and many other foods, or you can just buy these pills called hair and nails from Walmart. I heard there good OH also you could buy Mane n Tail .. it's horse shampoo but I use it and it keeps hair nice and shiney.. as for hair growth idono. Another thing you can do is massage your scalp when you shower so there is blood flow making the hair grow faster? so i've heard. oh and stay away from heat (blowdryer, straightner etc...)

Well good luck !

Hair growth. How?

multivitamin.. it really does work. also helps to stay healthy drinking plenty water eat healthy, and exercise. and try to stay away from flat irons

Hair growth. How?

yeah...go natural. coconut ect. ....if thats not working.....eat lots of mayonaise!

Hair growth. How?

What race are you trying to emulate? Why aren't you satisfied with yours? Not everyone can grow hair down their backs. Some grow hair on their backs! We all are what we are. Even plain genetics might prevent you from being able to grow long hair. Not everyone has the capability. It's not the end of the world. If you can't grow it, get extensions or a wig. Sorry, I know I sound somewhat negative, but wanting something that "other races" have sounds thin to me.

Hair growth. How?

To grow hair, eat a very healthy balanced diet, and lots of protein/vitamin e. Soybeans and soy protein(soymilk) has proven in studies to stimulate hairgrowth dramatically, so you may want to drink that. Also, baccon is supposted to have 2X the effects of hair growth than say, but I don't reccomend eating baccon on a regular basis.. if at all. You can masashe your scalp and ondition with cocanut oil, but make sure you're prettymuch stress free- stress can cause alot of problems, as can coffe. Coffe not only stunts your hairgrowth, but height/bodygrowth as well.

Trimming split ends makes hair look ver nice and smooth, and conditioner/shampoo helps alot, But Hair is made of Karitan, dead protein, same with your anils. Your hair is dead protein, wich is why it doesn't hurt to get it cut. Because yourhair grows from the scalp, or the 'root' the ends of the ahir arn't really that esential. Do avoid lots of tugging and pulling, and even excessive brushing, and you'll probally increase growth rate by 1/10-1/8-maybe if your lucky even 1/6 inch a month. however, if you want overnight long hair, you will have to get extentions!

if you have any toher questions on hair growth, care, or even taking weeks of damage off you hair (from streigheners/curlers/wahtever) message me, im more than happy to help!

good luck! :)

Comment to other answer by angel : WTF? No, it doesn't matter if she's all black or all African!! Your hair will grow like everyone elses if you take care of it right!! Not "years and years"!!!

"Like other races"? Are you black? And are you relaxed? So am I and I had trouble w/ my hair it was the same length for YEARS. It's finally growing! If you want MY hair regime, email me. Also, the following info is how to GROW hair, not necessarily make it shiny, bouncy, and smooth.

(this is the answer I usually give to those who ask to grow relaxed hair)

To grow hair:

Relaxed hair is almost always damaged, especially if you relax it monthly. First of all, keep your hair moisturized. This is as simple as wetting it in the shower, or wetting your hands and running them through your hair. DO NOT buy any moisturizer that has MINERAL OIL or PETROLATUM! care free curl gold and s-curl are popular moisturizers. Do NOT use that Pink lotion!

2)use a wide tooth comb(once a day or less)to avoid hairs breaking.

3)Wash your hair at least once a week with shampoo. I wash mine with JUST conditioner sometimes too after working out, or when I want to subtely clean hair

4)after shampooing, DEEP CONDITION by putting conditioner on your hair and putting a plastic cap over it and leaving it on for 15-30 minutes

5)massage your scalp daily

6)do not put any oils or "grease" on your scalp. Same goes with hair just for the sake of oiling your hair. Their are however topical treatments that you can put on your scalp if they contain something like Indian herbs or sulfur.

7)Try to relax your hair less. Every 8-10 weeks or longer!

8)You know your hair is breaking because if you look on the ends you will not see a white bulb. If you DO see a withe thing on the end, that is just shed hair. You shed several hairs a day, so it's all good. If it IS broken hair and you are getting a lot of it frequently, do a protein treatment (use Organic Roots Stimulator mayonaisse or Aphogee 2 minute)

9)Try to put your hair up. Or protect your hair by leaving it in braids. DO NOT LEAVE BRAIDS IN TOO LONG or you will loose your hairline! growafrohairlong.com has a great regime for braids

10)Do not limit your hair care products to the "ethnic" section of walmart. A lot of that stuff is crappy.
